Barrie Country Club celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2013. In 2002, Canadian architect Graham Cooke completed an extensive renovation plan which included the reshaping of bunkers and the addition and extension of various tee decks. With tees ranging from 5,252 yards to 7,004 yards, Barrie is accommodating of all players and provides golfers with a beautiful natural setting playing down into a valley down by Little Lake. At various points throughout our round ominous looking clouds threatened but the rain and lightening held off. Despite a dry season the course was in stellar condition and the facilities can’t be beat.
